# Locales

The Locale settings page enables you to configure languages for translating VU Custom applications across the brand and its global business regions.

Users with administrator permissions can add, view, edit, and delete the locales.

### Add a Locale&#x20;

To add a locale:

1. Log into VU Custom and from the Dashboard, click **Settings > Locale > Add New**.
2. In the **Name** field, enter the new name for the locale; for example, English.
3. In the **Code** field, enter the language code; for example, en-US.

The locale will be successfully created.

To delete a locale, select the locale from Locales and click **Delete**.

### Modify Locale

To modify a locale:

1. Log into VU Custom and from the Dashboard, click **Settings > Locales**.
2. Click the locale to view and modify the details.
3. Edit the details and click **Save**.

The changes will be successfully applied.
