Colors

Brands have the ability to self-service manage colors via the VU Admin module. Colors can be created individually and assigned to products, or can be added to global color pallete, which can be used accross multiple products

Users with Administrator permissions can add, edit, and delete colors in the Colors.

Adding a New Color

To add a color:

  1. Log into VU Custom and from the Dashboard, click Settings > Color > Add New or Create New Color.

  2. Enter the fields provided as a reference below and click Save.

    Field
    Description

    Name

    Color Name

    Hex

    Select the color from the dropdown.

    Pantone

    Click the link and select the color from the dropdown. To make colors appear in the dropdown, add them using the Color option.

    Thread

    Thread color. For example, fabric.

    Code

    Color code.

    Print

    Printing options for the color. For example, the printer name.

    Active

    Select the checkbox to make the active and available to use.

    Tags

    Keywords that enable you to find the color in search and filter result

The color is successfully added.
